Raising up a generation
Fiji and Pacific Islands
Fiji and Pacific Islands
The Republic of Fiji is an archipelago 2,500 kilometres north of New Zealand. In many ways, it is the economic and political hub of the Pacific. Tourism and sugar are the mainstays of the economy. The population of this tropical paradise consists of 49% indigenous Fijians and 45% Indians (originally brought as indentured labourers). Pacific Islanders, Europeans and a small, but influential, Chinese community make up the rest of the population.
We are seeking to reach various immigrant communities with the Gospel, pray them into the Kingdom through God's grace and gather them into groups of believers in Christ. We are also mobilizing for cross-cultural missionary work around the world, from Fiji and other islands in the Pacific.

New Zealand
New Zealand
What we do
Mobilising courageous disciples and churches to join with WEC in reaching the
least-reached peoples worldwide.
Our VISION
We envision a time when thousands of churches up and down New Zealand will take up their
responsibility to make disciples of all nations, being hungry for God, crying for the lost,
sacrificing to go in far greater numbers.
We envision a time when there will be enough equipped and inspired goers for every people
to have real opportunity to know Christ; a time when all peoples have heard, and our awesome
Lord returns.
Our Goal
We have a target of 100 long term missionaries from New Zealand by 2018.
